The sculpture workshop in Kfar-Saba is a school for the study of sculpture
that I founded 14 years ago .
It's located on one of the first streets in Kfar-Saba,
in a house in which the first setlers of Kfar-Saba lived.
There is a garden of sculptures that I made together with my son,
Michael Ben Dori, who is a sculptor as well.
In the beautiful 1.5 acre site, people can create
sculptures while enjoying the influence of the natural surroundings.
Working with us is the sculptor Tzipi Noiman,
Together with us, she gives special attention to each student
who wishes to learn.
We teach many people to be professional sculptors,
many of whom showed their sculptures in solo exhibitions
in private homes and museums all over the country.

THE METHOD OF TEACHING

Our method of teaching is suited to the individul student ,
Each student picks the shape, the subject and the material.
We see ourselves as technical and philosophical guides who
try to see the potential in each student from the first meeting.
WE DON'T TEACH FOR THE SAKE OF USELESS CREATIONS
WE TEACH HOW TO MAKE REAL CREATIONS !!!.

THE LIBRARY

The library has a rich collection of hundreds of books and
sculptures which enable the student
to expand his knowledge and to meet new concepts in art.
The library also offers short lectures about art.

THE ALOMIM BOARDING SCHOOL

Youth from the Alomim boarding school have been learning

in the workshop many years.

The boarding school grounds are decorated with many of the sculptures that the

students have built under the guidance of Drora and Zipi.

QUALITY CASTING

In 1997 The Sculpture Workshop opened a department for

quality casting. This department was created by the sculptor Michael Ben Dori .

In the department we cast sculptures in a unique way

which causes them to be like "bronze" .

People from all over the country come to the workshop and

bring with them rubber molds which they had used before to cast bronze.

You are also invided to come! .

THE SHALOM NESIRI MEMORIAL PRIZE

The sculpture workshop offers a prize in the memory of

Shalom Nesiri who was killed in a car accident .

The prize is a diploma for excellence which encourages

young and talented sculptors to continue in their work.

" " This prize is donated by the Nesiri family.
